I have always loved a staycation. It makes me feel like I’m really traveling somewhere new. So when picking the right city and hotel for any staycation, I consider exactly what I want to accomplish on vacation: adventure, relaxation, girls trip, or discovering a new city etc.
I have always been a fan of Loews Miami Beach because I feel the hotel has so much to offer you really don’t have to get in your car and drive anywhere. You can literally stay at the hotel for a few days and have the most wonderful time. I will give you 5 reasons why I love Loews Miami Beach.
2. Great location: This hotel is located in Miami Beach, where all the action is so you can walk to many places. You can shop or find a restaurant to try out, which is always fun. You can also just take in the action, and people watch. The hotel staff is also very knowledgeable if you have any questions about the area and are trying to find something to do. The hotel also has a shop called Splash that you can find lots of great gifts or if you are looking for something for yourself, you can find a lot of great designer finds at this retail store.
3. Amenities: Loews offers fantastic amenities. You can lounge at the pool and order lunch at one of the lounge chairs. You can rent a cabana that also provides AC and waitstaff that can help you with any food and beverage needs. The hotel offers complimentary wifi for up to four devices. They have a great gym & spa. You can use their kayaks, paddleboards, and boogie boards for up to 30 minutes per day, weather permitting. If you stay with your kids, they offer a fun rec room with video games and a vintage arcade center. You don’t have to leave the hotel if you want to go to the beach. This is a beachfront property, and they offer you up to four beach chairs.
4. Restaurants: You can’t go wrong with the delicious food options that this hotel offers. For breakfast, you have Preston’s Market, which is a farm-to-table concept. Food is locally sourced American cuisine with a South Beach twist. For on-the-go food, you have Miami Joe Coffee Co. If you are hanging out at the pool & beach all day, I suggest you order from Nautilus Pool & Grill. They have delicious eats and an extensive cocktail list with locally brewed beers on tap. For dinner, you can choose from Lure Fishbar or Bar Collins; they are great options. You can check out their menus on the Loews website. Let’s also not forget that if you don’t want to leave your room, you have room service as an option too.
5. Staff: I think you can stay at a fabulous & luxurious property, but if the staff is not friendly, helpful, and accommodating, you are really not getting the whole experience. The team makes a property great, and you can’t go wrong with the Loews Miami Beach staff. Teddy and I absolutely loved the staff, and they truly made our vacation memorable.
I didn’t talk about the rooms or lobby because, let’s face it, you are staying at a Loews property; of course, the rooms and lobby have beautiful interiors and are designed with their guests in mind. I also didn’t mention that they have private rooms for large & small events, and Lure Fishbar also has a private area for your private get-togethers, so don’t forget to look at these options if you have any upcoming events approaching.
