Finding the best South Florida Murals is one of my favorite things to do. I absolutely love art, and seeing it on a large scale is even better. It is also fun to take photos of my Maltese Teddy near this incredible art. I love that where I live, you really see murals everywhere. So if you love art too but are trying to find some great art quickly, you have come to the right place. I will provide you with tons of sites to check out with links that provide more information.
The 1st stop is Wynwood. You will find tons of incredible art in the Downtown Miami area. The great thing about Wynwood is that all you have to do is park your car, and you will see street art everywhere. You can walk blocks and see tons of different artists provide you with amazing murals to see and take photos at. If you want to see Wynwood Walls, they charge a fee now, which is $10 for adult tickets, $7.50 for seniors, and $5 for students and military. Children under 12 are free.  https://thewynwoodwalls.com
The 2nd stop is Downtown Doral. To me, Downtown Doral is a new hot spot for murals and art. They are really stepping up their game and increasing their awareness on social media of all the up-to-date things they are doing. The other thing I love about this spot is that you can grab something to eat & drink in the area.  https://downtowndoral.com/news/codina-partners-and-city-of-doral-debut-lux-doral-a-large-scale-immersive-art-initiative-in-downtown-doral/
The 3rd stop is CityPlace Doral. This is another great place to check out art. This area always has something going on, either a farmers market or live music. You can also shop & grab something to eat here. They have an area called Art Wall Alley.  https://www.cityplacedoral.com/events/art-wall-alley/
The 4th stop is Downtown Hollywood. There is a website called Downtown Hollywood Mural Project. If you are in this area, I would highly recommend checking out the website because they always provide updates on new murals and walking tours. They usually offer tours every third Saturday of the month, and it last an hour. Their Facebook page is another excellent resource for great information because they even provide the tours virtually. I have even seen one of their virtual tours that some people in the city get their house painted as a work of art. http://hollywoodcra.org/188/Downtown-Hollywood-Mural-Project
The 5th stop is Downtown Fort Lauderdale. The specific area is called FatVillage. It is not a vast area, but once you park, you can walk around the area and find some great art and galleries. They also have a cute coffee shop in the area called Brew Urban Cafe. They have an ArtWalk every last Saturday of the month.  https://www.fatvillage.com/artwalk
The 6th stop is Palm Beach County. The website I will provide you with gives you an overview of the entire Palm Beach Area. So you will have plenty of places to check out.  https://www.thepalmbeaches.com/blogs/vibrant-murals-add-color-across-palm-beaches
The 7th stop is a list of some hidden gems that can be found at hotels. Visit Lauderdale & US Travel Association had a mural made at the W Fort Lauderdale. The mural represents the beautiful beaches, year-round sunshine and diverse inclusive community that will welcome you to Fort Lauderdale. While you are at the W Fort Lauderdale, I highly recommend checking out Sobe Vegan that is attached to the hotel. It has great murals, photo opportunities, and great food too.Â
Hotel Maren- the mural is located by their pool
Hyatt Centric Las Olas – the mural is located by their pool
Moxy South Beach – near their gym
The 8th stop is virtual. I would research on Instagram because you can find many amazing murals because people geotag the location, so it’s easy to find. This is a great idea if you are traveling outside of Florida and want to continue to see murals throughout your trip.
